Take a virtual stroll through our village. You can visit the picturesque ruins of our 11th century fortress chateau, or the murals in the Romanesque church St. Genest or maybe even a quick look inside a maison troglodyte .

Arm yourself with a courage, becauseat the begining the path is steep, but you will be rewarded with a magificent panorama of the village and valley. Along the way you can stop toadmire the many maisons trololdyte where people still live in unique cave homes.
- La Promenade du poète (a reference to the poet Ronsard, who was born nearby and wrote many poems to the Loir River).
This short walk along the river is much appreciated by painters and photographers. There is a lavoir (an tradional communal washing place for clothes) and if you get lucky the village's two swan's floating in the calm water.

As you leave Lavardin by the route des reclusages, take the path which mounts steeply on your left and find romantically hidden in the woods the grottes des vierges orcave of the virgins.
In the village is also other longer marked trails to explore the village and it's countryside.
